McDonald's All American Nominator
Hoop Mountain - New England Girls has been selected to be a McDonald's All America Nominator (Fall of each year.)
Basketball
A full day. We don’t fill time with Lectures, Tennis, Swimming or anything else. It’s all basketball. 8:30 am to 9:00 pm daily. We break for Lunch and Dinner. If you’re not playing in a game you are being taught how to improve your game. Each hour we rotate according to schedule. Three games daily plus six additional hours of learning the game. Campers get basketball and more basketball and have FUN!
Coaches and Counselors
We are dedicated to the development of girls basketball. The staff consists of many of the finest coaches in the region, both college and high school coaches. Many of the counselors have or are still playing college basketball.
Proven Methods to Step Up your Game
- Dawn to dusk personal training sessions.
- Guard/Wing and Post Play Training. One session per day is used for Guard/Wing and Post Training. Campers are split up by their preference and work with our coaches to improve their skills in these specific areas.
- Personal report with drills designed specifically for you.
Facility
The Pomfret School is located in Pomfret, CT (Northeastern Connecticut) and is easily accessible by car. Directions will be forwarded upon receipt of deposit. For air travelers, it is conveniently situated between Boston, MA, Providence, RI, and Hartford, CT.
