Jeannette Mosher Head Women's Basketball Coach
Jeannette Mosher enters her 11th season as head coach of SUNY Cortland’s women’s basketball program in 2008-09. Cortland’s career win leader, Mosher has an impressive record of 230-54 (.810) in 10 seasons with the Red Dragons, including seven years with at least 23 victories along with a pair of 19-win campaigns.
Her 2007-08 squad finished 24-6, placed second in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament and won the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Upstate New York title.
In 2006-07, the Red Dragons posted a 26-3 record, won both the SUNYAC regular-season and tournament titles and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament with a first-round victory. Mosher received SUNYAC Coach of the Year honors for the second straight year and fourth time overall. The 2005-06 team finished 23-5, won the SUNYAC regular-season title and earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Division III tournament.
In the 2003-04 season, Mosher also was named the SUNYAC Coach of the Year after leading the Red Dragons to a 25-5 record, the league title and the NCAA Division III tournament. Cortland won its opening-round NCAA game and finished tied for 17th nationally. In 2004-05, her squad finished 19-7 and tied for third at the SUNYAC tournament.
In all, Mosher has led Cortland to four SUNYAC tournament titles and six NCAA playoff showings. In 2000-01, the Red Dragons finished with a school-best 27-3 record, won the SUNYAC regular-season crown and made the program’s first NCAA “Sweet 16” appearance since 1992. Cortland was 26-2 in 1999-2000 and 25-3 in 1998-99. In both of those seasons, the Red Dragons won the SUNYAC regular-season and tournament titles and received a bye into the second round of the NCAA playoffs. Mosher was the SUNYAC co-Coach of the Year in the 1999-2000 season.
Mosher led the Red Dragons to a 19-8 record in 2001-02 and a 16-12 mark in 2002-03. The Red Dragons advanced to the SUNYAC tournament championship game six straight years from 1999-2004 and nine times in her 10 seasons.
Mosher was named the Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) Coach of the Year in 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2007. She is currently a member of the BCANY’s Board of Directors.
Prior to her arrival at Cortland, Mosher served as the head women’s basketball coach at Alfred University for four seasons. She led the Saxons to a 16-9 mark in 1996-97, the second-best record in the program’s history and its first winning season in nine years. The team qualified for the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association playoffs. She also served as Alfred’s Senior Women’s Administrator for two years.
Mosher was an assistant coach at Northern Michigan University for four years prior to Alfred. During that stretch, the Wildcats had a combined 85-31 record and made two trips to the NCAA Division II playoffs. Mosher also served as a graduate assistant coach at Shippensburg (Pa.) University.
A 1990 alumna of St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind., Mosher graduated as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 2,280 points. As a senior she was a first team All-American and Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Player of the Year as she led the Pumas to a 28-2 record and the NCAA Division II “Elite Eight.” She also led the team to 27-4 marks and the NCAA playoffs in both her sophomore and junior seasons. She was inducted into the GLVC Hall of Fame in May 2004.
The Lafayette, Ind., native scored at least 50 points on two occasions, including a school and GLVC record 51 points along with 22 assists against Lewis University as a senior. A member of St. Joseph’s Athletic Hall of Fame, Mosher was ranked 15th on the NCAA Division II career scoring chart, entering the 2007-08 season.
Mosher (formerly Jeannette Yeoman) and her husband, Calvin, a 1981 SUNY Cortland graduate, reside in Cortland.

Kristie Meyer Head Women's Basketball Coach
Kristie Meyer enters her sixth season as head coach of Roy C. Ketcham Girl's basketball program in 2008-09. In the 2003-04 season, Meyer led the Indians to a 19-4 record, the league title and the Section 1 tournament. Ketcham defeated Clarkstown North and Ursuline and then went on to meet Mount Vernon in the section Semi-Finals at the Westchester County Center.
In the 2004-05 season, Ketcham battled to beat John Jay for their first win of the season. Ketcham also received third place in the Pine Bush Tournament and beat the league winner, Carmel.
In the 2005-2006 season, Ketcham went 10-11 overall and overcame a lot of adversary with a team of five freshman and one 8th grader. Ketcham needed to beat both Carmel and Mahopac in their last two games of the season to qualify for the Sectionals outbracket game which was lost to Arlington in overtime. Ketcham also beat John Jay by one point in the Beacon Tournament.
The 2006-2007 season was highlighted by Hannah Cerrone reaching 1000pts. The team traveled to Disney World during winter break and went 2-1 at the tournament there. Ketcham had a much better year than their record indicated losing 10 games within 5pts of their opponent.
In 2007-2008 season, Ketcham had its first 22 game season since 2004 going 9- 13 overall. On February 3rd, Ketcham beat John Jay earning them a bid into the Sectional Tournament. The Giants won the Super Bowl later that night. Ketcham went on to defeat Clarkstown North in a Sectional Outbracket game, and then lost to section semi-finalist, Our Lady of Lourdes, in the first round. Ketcham will return all of their impact players, including all five starters in the upcoming season.

Meyer was also a four year varsity letter winner at SUNY Cortland graduating in 2000 as the school's fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,275 points. As a junior and senior she was a first team All-Sunyac selection and helped her team to records of 26-2 in 1999-2000 and 25-3 in 1998-99. In both of those seasons, the Red Dragons won the SUNYAC regular season and tournament titles and received a bye into the second round of the NCAA playoffs.
The Norwich, NY native started her playing career as a Purple Tornado at Norwich High School in 1993.

Shell Dailey (Women’s Basketball Coordinator)
Coordinates all phases of women’s basketball at the IMG Basketball Academy. On-court instructor for all levels of girls and women’s basketball. Designs and implements training curriculum for full-time, short-time and summer girls programs, as well as programs for professional and collegiate women. Previously served as an assistant and/or head coach at a number of different colleges and universities, including the University of Florida, University of South Carolina, Texas A&M University, and Texas Christian University.Also served as an assistant and/or head coach with the San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) and the Nashville Noise (ABL).Currently also a talent scout for the WNBA, and has recruited from and directed clinics in Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, the former Yugoslavia, Russia, the Czech Republic, Argentina, and South Africa, among others. Coach Dailey played for the University of Texas at Austin, and regularly contributes articles to Women's Basketball Magazine.
